I am thinking about putting in a boost gauge, but i was wondering if anyone has done it. When i searched i didnt find much but a few air-vent mountaing options. Has anyone done this? Have any inspirational pics?

I am working on one for my A pillar (No curtain airbags). There is nothing available for the vent as in the S4, but as long as you do not have side curtain airbags, you could opt for the A-pillar. I am just finding the time for my brother in law and me to put it in. Looking at about 2 hour install time. There is a pillar pod mount available from AWE Tuning.

ya i have the side curtain air bag so out of luck there. I am actually thinking about putting it in my dash (the previous owner screwed his radar mounting bracket into the dash, so i have two sweet holes i wouldnt mind covering) Im not sure if i would simply screw a gauge into the existing holes, or if i would (could?) cut a hole in the dash and sink it and make a little fiberglass cover.

Hey Joetm,

PLEASE take pictures. I would love to see the process and what you did. If it looks good, I might opt for that myself!

Thanks!

Column pod is not available for the A6 2.7T, only the S4, and the columns are different
