gubro30 -> Low oil pressure warning + P1522 code: where to look first PLEASE! (4/30/2008 7:15:36 AM)

Hi there -
I drove roughly 2000km so far since the day I bought the car (99 2.8Q). Yesterday the low oil pressure light came on for a few seconds while driving up a hill, that was the first time that happened. I drove 700kms yesterday alone ( Quebec - Montreal back and forth ) and not a single problem except this. I stopped immediately, checked the oil on flat level, and the oil is as high as it can be.
There is also a P1522 code that might indicate insufficient pressure to the engine head. However, could it only be a faulty sensor ? Is is that very sensor that is responsible for sending the warning?
How do I determine if the sensor is bad or clogged up? If not, what are simple signs that there is not enough oil flowing to the top of the engine?
