Default RS4 Exhaust on A4 B6 ?

Anybody read or tried fitting an RS4 exhaust on a B6 ?

I am in the stage of planning mods for my '03 1.8T. I've decided to go APR STAGE III.

If I modify an RS4 exhaust such that it is one pipe and splits into two (as in thestock one of B6) What major obstacles will I face?

Please Advice!

it wont fit and it would be a waste of moeny and timeto try IMO
the RS4 is two pipes strait down from the two cats and 2 exhuast manis

the pipes bent to fit under car and i doubt u can find a point to connect the pipes

the 1.8T is a single pipe split in to two which is kinda pointless

here are two aftermarket exhuast so u can compare
im sure u can tell which one is the 1.8T and RS4, if u cant i suggest u dont go APR stage 3

Actually Cheng, the stock RS4 exhaust is 1 pipe to Y pipe... I know this cause there used to be one sitting at our shop right next to my stock exhaust. The resonators, and the mufflers are twice as big so there might be a fitment issue there, but as far as all the mounting spots go, they are relatively the same. Only major problem i see is the size of the mufflers AND the fast that the RS4 exhaust has exhaust actuators that open and close the muffler automatically...

Knowing for a fact that RS4 is a B7 Chasse, and B7 and B6 chasse are identical.

I understood from you guys that the rear mufflers are slightly bigger and require adjustment, no problems
Will be running a vacum line to the ends for the butterfly to operate.

Has anybody done this swap before?

that doesn't matter, with a V style engine, the exhaust comes out on both sides of the engine, hence 2 pipes. the 1.8t is a I4 and it has a turbo, so you have to start with 1 pipe.

either way its a waste of money. your not gona get it to sound like an rs4. the 4.2L v8 does that
