GIAC + dv should be right under 700... so besides that you could get a new air filter or some car soap or something

I agree with the used idea, get front mount intercooler if you can wait for one to show up. If not buy some vac. line and replace them all.

giac is 400 for AEB, you can get a forge dv/bov in the classifieds for under 100. and they come with a lifetime warranty. So he has 200 left over, he could do what CIA said (and what i would do), or get a mbc, or a fmic core, custom pipes wouldn't cost that much more, or a test pipe if he doesn't have emissions. don't forget to get new spark plugs and gap them to .028 or you'll probly end up blowing a coilpack. a new air and fuel filter wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Default RE: Help me blow my paycheck!

ok so I decided first things first, getting a chip. Some dude in a duale ford f-350 passed me on the freeway and cut me off, and he had one of those ugly steel looking ballsacks hanging from his hitch, and he kept flooring it so all this gross black smoke would come billowing out of his huge pipe right onto my freshly washed car. I kept trying to switch lanes and pass him, but even floored in 5th going on a slight downhill he would just ride next to me and not let me back over. It really pissed me off. So I'll look for a used giac 93 oct., and also try to find myself a DV for a good price, so hopefully I can go with chaos's idea and use the extra cash left over to buy myself something nice. I'm thinking a boost gauge or turbo timer or something. I know turbo timer's are not neccesary, but I live in phoenix (100+ degrees every summer), and I'm very impatient, so I hate having so drive around all slow or sit in the parkinglot for 3 or 4 minutes. I'd say boost gauge though, because its a little more important....
