Default valve cover gasket???????

hey guys do you need to put gasket sealant all the way around valve cover or just on the corners? some people told me not to put any because the gasket may not sit properly.

help guys

You shouldn't have to use any at all, but if you do, just put it at the corners.

I recently did my valve cover and I pretty much only added sealant (lightly) only on the corners and around the holes fo rthe spark plugs. Just remember to start from the center and work your way out when re-tightening. I have not had any problems with leaking at all.

I did it twice and never used sealent. There is no need to and you are just adding in more crap between the head and cover.
