Today, the clutch on my 89 200QT stuck, and now it's not disengaging. at all. i had to nearly redline the engine to get across an intersection, and i promptly pulled over. the clutch is fully engaged, and it doesn't disengage at all. i tried everything i could think of, depressing the clutch and then letting it out, pretty much everything. i was unable to move in either forward or reverse, and just left the car parked. what i am wondering is if the clutch from any other (newer) Audi/VW model will fit this car. i'm leaning toward the newer model, simply because they are quite a bit more common than my car (mine is the only one i've seen near town), and i could probably get a clutch from a junked car at the local junkyard. Or, if there are other vehicles that a clutch would fit from, it owuld be greatly helpful to know what they are. any help would be greatly appreciated.

well actually have u tried ebay? there might b sumting there ... belive it or not .. it may...also how bout getting it to a repair shop they might have sumting laying around. and finaly try searching on google i found a repair clutch for my 60 VW bettle on google so it may help u ><

yeah, i did try ebay. not too much there. all that's listed is clutch kits for A4's, 90's, 100's, etc. i'm not sure if any will fit, but i did find a few wrecked 200QT's that i'm trying to get in contact with the owner to see if they would sell just the clutch.
