Been wondering that same question myself. Neuspeed I have owned before and know well. Always a great product. Plus its one piece with filter and race cold air can be added at a later date. Minus the filter sites open to extra engine heat.
Know EVOMS Has a great reputation with porsches and I got a thumbs up from my uncle for them. Plus the have a housing that protects the filter and incoming air from excess engine heat. Minus is it has multiple peices.
Now is the question is does the EVOMS sound mellow at highway speeds as I now the p-flow is. Projected and picture shown HP TRQ gains from each is about the same.
So who has heard both and has an opinion?

I havent heard the EVOMS but my friend has the Neuspeed and it is amazing. He gets a lot of compliments on it from other Audi enthusiats and im going to get it as well soon. Its got a nice intake sound with a blow off valve sound when you let off the gas.

Sorry guys cant stay away, i've been reading alot of guys wondering about the sound of cai, and cant remember my evoms making alot of sound at highway speeds or slower, unless i stuck my head out of the wdw and hearing a faint sucking sound.

And grrr you could've done all those mods yourself except the coils.
cai imo is a very easy mod, and the dv is probably second most easiest .
Next time ask the forum first and gauge the difficulty of certain mods, just an fyi.

Alright, then its settled. I'm going to go with the EVOMS just because of the encloser. Living up here in snow and what not being able to protect the under section of the filter is going to be nice.

Does either of these have any issues with warranty or CARB certifications? I would like to get an intake, usually first mod on any vehicle I have owned, but do not know what the dealer will think/do? I have the Audi care as well up to 50K. The car has 4K miles as of now.

Thanks for you help!

What i've found across different forums is that each Audi dealership has its own rules on modding. In general, modding doesn't affect your routing services, which is the audi-care you already paid up front. When warranty replacement comes into play, that's when dealerships really wants to get you. So call your dealership and find out.

Thanks. I will check it out with my local dealer.

So, there are 2 intakes here, the Evoms and Neuspeed. Has anyone tried the ATP one?

Just got back home from Eurowurx. Installed Neuspeed PFlow intake, Forge DV, Engine Tourque arm, Boost guage and Koni CO. Anyone here haivng weird noise when they release the gas on low rpm's? sound like some grinding or hiccups.

the only sound i get when i release the gas pedal at low rpms is the WHOOSHHH PSHHHH sound of the blow off valve being amplified by the intake.

Check that your heat shield has the nuts installed on the back. Without it, you'll get vibration noise.. essentially like a chatter sound at lower rpms. That was what caused the noise on mine...

Check out the AEM. I love it.

If you live in an area where it doesn't snow/rain much, then it's the best choice. Search the forums - there's a few posts on it.
