I have a 2000 A6 2.8 avant with stock wheels on it now and I have some BBS CH 18's 8" wide, that i want to put on it for summer. I'm not sure what the offset of the stock rims are but the BBS i believe are 50mm offset. Can i use the same lug bolts?, or do i need longer ones, will i need spacers? Thanks for any info.

I'm not sure if you have th same type calipers up front that I do. I have a 2000 2.7. I put some 18X8.5 wit a 35mm offset on mine and I had to get some 5mm spacers to make the rims clear the front calipers. I went ahead and got spacers for the front and back. They came with the longer lug bolts that I needed. I used a kit from Eibach that costs about $73. If you add spacers you can't use the stock lug bolts. They won't be long enough and the wheel will work itself loose. And don't buy a generic spacer. They won't fit right. Make sure they are customed made for your car. Good Luck.
