Default 96 CD Changer ate my CD

Hi all,

My CD Changer just consumed disk #4 from the cartridge and it is nowhere to be found (inside thechanger)on visual inspection. Now, I had just gotten a replacement cartridge (my dad misplaced the original) off of ebay that was the equivalent Alpine branded model. It worked fine for a day until I tried to switch from disk 4 to disk 1. CD error 00 appeared on the stereo and that was that... Popped out cartridge and disk 4 was MIA. Anyone run into this problem before and have any suggestions to get the CD out without tearing the whole changer apart. Secondly, has anybody else had problems with the Alpine 4905 cartridge being used as a replacement?

I would really appreciate some feedback,
Josh
