Hi if i am not mistaken the button is to turn off the internal movement sensor (alarm) when you have pets in the car so the doors can be locked and the alarm/immobiliser to still work or to leave the windows down a bit on a hot day not that we get many hope this has been of some help

put a pet inside, lock the doors, then wave a treat as you walk around the car. you'll know if the alarm sounds whether it is off or on.
