The previous owner managed to tear the leather on my 01's steering wheel, so when I was looking for a replacement I found one from a '02 that had the tip shifter buttons on it, would this wheel work for my car as far as using the shift function? It's not a big deal to me, just curious.

The wiring needed doesn't exist on your car.

u can wire your car ... there is a diy on audidiy.com
