While this may be my first post, I have done some research and see various options to hook up your Ipod to the stock Audi Headunit. I have the Audi Symphony system with the 6 Disc Changer...2005 Audi A4.

I have the same car (2005 A4) and the dealership put in their version (looks exactly yhr same as your link) and it doesn't work that well, you can play from5-6 playlists. Although i haven't completely figured it out yet they told me it was the best option.

When did you have it installed?

about a week ago.

What did it run you for the adapter and labor?I think I could install on my own.

Well it was free, one of the options they threw in for buying the car. The dealer told me it was worth roughly $500 but I think that would be a stretch as it looks like a $10 cable and a 15 minute job.
