This thread is to share your interior setup on your b5 with fellow AF members. so go ahead and post up some pictures, as well as a list of mods, if you have any, for everyone to see.

Do you want to see mine? Because I don't really want to see yours, especially not if it's stock.

Here's mine.  I had the crappy matte-finish wood trim, so I removed it, prepped it, and painted it metallic silver to match the exterior of my car.

My only interior customization.

As much as I love it, it's time to change things up.  Trying to think of a different fabric now.

I love the way the silver wraps around your radio, as opposed to stock 1.8T trim that only runs above it.

I'm not sure whether the 1.8T has just regular black trim around the radio or not, but in my 2.8 it was the same woodgrain that is on the dash and doors.  It really looked like hell before, so I'm very happy with the silver anyhow, let alone how it wraps the center of the console.  Here's a couple more shots from before and after too - you'll see the difference better this way.

Before (yecch):

After (aahhh lol):

Wow, that looks so much better in the After shots.  And I'm not sure about the 1.8T from the 2" radio era, but my '01 has black trim around the radio.

Thanks man.  There's a decent amount of disassembly to get the pieces out but it's pretty easy overall.  I think it took maybe 45 minutes total to have all the wood trim pieces sitting on the bench for prep.  I'm really glad I did it - that OEM trim looked awful.

Well I like a little more fiber in my interior ........... Carbon Fiber ........ I thought it was funny .....

It is still under construction and should be finished soon so once the interior is completed I will post the finished product.

They call me carbon whore, but I still can't figure out why ........

^^ Yeah, that's just a bit too much CF for my taste, there. But at least it looks like the real deal and not some stick-on crap. I'm not going to post my interior because the only thing I've done to it is install an aftermarket stereo - nothing exciting. I kinda like my wood-grain trim .
