I just wanted to post up on here my anger and frustration with OE Wheels from Sarasota, FL /Ebay. I whacked a few potholes this winter and was in need of some new tires and rims, because the ones on the car were worn out/dented. Ishopped around, and originally was going to get some from VelocityMotoring, but, they will not have any in stock untill Mid to Late May. I shopped around onEbay, looking for someRS4 Reps that would clear the bigger brakes on myS4. I found these:

from OE Wheels. The Ad states that they fir "1993-2005 A4/S4" I called them up, directly asked if they would fit my 2000 S4, was told they would, so I ordered them for around 650 dollars shipped.

They get here (after a week and a half, I might add, after I paid for 3-5 day shipping) I open them up, they look great, I get them mounted, balanced, bring them home, put the backs on, move to the fronts, and, yup, you guessed it, THEY DONT FIT!!! Spokes hit the brake calipers.

I call them up, tell them I have a complaint, and want to return them. They tell me I can't because I already had tires mounted on the rims. They also tell me I should have test fitted it first... WTF?!?!?! I ASKED YOU IF THEY WOULD FIT AND YOU SAID YES!!!

So, long story short, DO NOT order from O E Wheels, from Sarasota FL, AKA moore9911 on Ebay, as they WILL NOT stand behind their product, and do false advertising.

I have filed a complaint with the BBB, but doubt anything will come of it. I simply dont want to see any of my fellow AudiS4 owners deal with this frustration.

I'm assuming you used your credit card..? I would have a talk with your credit card, tell them that you are sending the wheels back to the vendor, and you will not be paying the balance on the credit card. I have personally done this before and the credit card company backs their CUSTOMER... which is YOU.

Otherwise, good luck and sorry to hear, sounds like a page out of my life.

I had the exact same thing happen to me! From the exact same seller. I ordered the 17" RS4 replicas. They screwed me over too. I called them before I placed the order and gave him my year and model. He said it would fit my '01 S4. I asked him if there would need to be any spacers installed to fit correctly. He said no.
Well, the wheels came in a few weeks. They sat in my house for a week or two until I could find some time and money to mount them. I took them to a local tire shop. They mounted them and balanced them. Everything looked right and they dropped my car down off the lift. They opened the door and I tried to back out. I put it in reverse and the let off the brake. The car wouldn't move. I looked at the e-brake and it was down. I looked at the gauges and everything seemed fine and then I looked at the mechanic. He said give it more gas because he thought I was stuck on the lift. Then, I felt the car lunge backwards with a screech and come to a aburpt stop. It happened one more time and the guys goes "Oh, shit.. pull her forward and get your dad kid." The front brakecalipers didnt clear the spokes. We mounted the old rims and went home and called the company. They said theycouldn't do anything because we mounted the rims already. They did send 5mm spacers and a set of lugs for the wheels free of charge. That was the only professional thing that they did for me. I was stuck with two rims with big cuts in the front spokes. With the 5mm spacers on the car now, the new rims stick out 3/4 of an inch farther than the stock.
I feel your pain. Someone needs to do something about him. He lied to get a sale when he knew that they would not fit. I was screwed out of $700.

I posted a bad comment for moore9911. He contacted some people at Ebay to get me to remove my comment. I said that I did not want to because other people might do the same as I did. He offered me $50 towards buying something else from him if i wanted. What the hell would I want to buy anything from him again?!?

Do you have bigger brakes on your S4 also b5hobsons4?

I reported him to Ebay as well. Hopefully I can get his account pulled. I am also going to email this thread link toOE Wheelsto show how making a few Audi owners mad can be bad for long term business...

If someone could cross-post this to Audiworld, and Audizine to let the others there know as well, it would be appreciated. Let's get the word out and stop this from happening!!

Alright sounds good. He knew that it would not fit when he sold you your set. I bought mine back in December of 2007.
