Default S4 B5 Battery Relocation

So my battery is a piece of shit; I figure instead of replacing it, I'll just get an optima battery and a relocation kit. Can anyone fill me in on what gauge wire the oem battery uses? Thank you in advance!

I think it's 2 or 4 gauge.

I have a 4 gauge wiring kit for my amp and they are pretty close in size.

Probably going to do it off to the side as I have plans on taking the spare tire out so that I can do a custom exhaust setup... Can't have anything in the spare hole... so 2 or 4, does anyone know for sure?

More over, does anyone have any idea how I'm going to neatly couple the aftermarket wire to the oem ones? That seems to be tricky...

Anyone put wiring from the engine bay to the bottom of the car w/o going near the exhaust manifolds? I'm looking for a nice spot, the only thing I see is following the brakelines... Anyone have any input?
