Default A4Q Driveshaft

Does anyone have instructions for the replacement of the driveshaft on a 1998 A4Q?

Thanks,

TBM

By driveshaft, do you mean the shaft from the front of the car to the rear, or do you mean a drive axle (from diff to wheel)? If it's the first, I'm not sure if there's a DIY procedure, but if it's an axle, you can find writeups in the Tech areas of www.audidiy.com and www.audiworld.com.

im pretty sure you need a specail 12 point torx bit for the front and rear axles use the DIY upstate posted. if it sthe center there is no DIY but its pretty straif forward, several 12 point torx at each end and a little loop to prevent the drive shaft from falling after that just pull it, also make sure which one oyu need im sure as long as its a A4 center itll fit but the earlier models had carbon fiber shafts and the later stuff had steel.

I mean the front to rear shaft. I'll check the sites you suggest. Thanks.
