Hey guys,
Just wanted to say hey, I'm new to the forum. After much debate about what car to get in the price range and genre, I've finally went and ordered a 2009 A5, 6MT, Ice Silver Metallic, Premium Package and S-Line Package, and I'm pretty excited.

Other cars I tried out and decided weren't for me:

BMW 328i, 335i, E46 M3 (used)
Infiniti G37
Lexus IS250, IS350
Pontiac G8

I know a lot of people swear by the 3-series, but I already have a modified Supra, so I wasn't willing to sacrifice so much luxury for sportiness. I would not judge anyone for choosing the 3-series, but the A5 has a lot more to offer someone who is looking for a true luxury coupe, and doesn't mind being a little down on power (but up on fuel economy, hehe)

This A5, by far, the best car I've ever owned with respect to reliability, performance and comfort. It is also the most expensive car I've ever owned.The ride is smooth at every speed, the acceleration is seamless with plenty of pickup.Within one week of owning the car I was in Lake Placid, NY towards the end of a snowy winter season. While descending a hill and the road veering to the right the Audi held on. The SUV in front of me rolled over twice. I was very happy to have Quattro.

The A5 is a beautiful car and I would definitely buy one if I didn't have 2 kids. Right now my plan is to buy a 2009 A4 but I am still deciding between the V6 and 2.0T. I have been curious how the A5 0-60 times seem so much faster than the V6 A4 which are essentially the same size and weight. ARe you both happy with the power? gas mileage? MMI?
