Default low brake pad warning indicator light

I recently replaced the pades and rotors on my 97 A8 (4.2 quattro) with EBC redstuff pads and some performance rotors. The pads have the sensor on them and it is plugged in properly. I cleaned everything very well and doubble checked my connections. Yet the pad light is still on. Any ideas for getting the light out? Thanks for any help.
Jesse

alot of aftermarket pads don't work correctly...

you'd have to disconnect the sensors and loop them w/ a paperclip. the sensors won't work but the light will go off

Thanks a lot. I figured that might end up being the case. Anybody know which pins to jump? There are three.

Make sure the brake fluid is filled up. On some
Audis the same indicator is shared with warn
pads.

Not the same light at the low brake fluid.low fluid light is red.low front pad light is yellow and in center of cluster.i would try to jump at the connectors if light does not go out abs line is the cause.very common on A8.and if you saved your old pads cut the wires from them to make the jumpers.
