Default 2000 s4 TRANSMISSION PROBLEM

I have a 2000 S4 with a rebuilt tranny and clutch I am having problems with. Rebuilt about 2500 miles ago. Has stage 2 race clutch. I got off the interstate last week after playing with some loser and my tranny did not want to go into 1st. It is very hard to push into 1st and 2nd. 3rd through 6th are fine. It pulls out of 1st hard, its even hard to find nuetral. I had it into a shop and he disconnected the linkage and manually shifted it determining its not linkage. 2nd problem. Has adjustable suspension and when it is rainy out my car shakes violently. Coming from the rear end. It looks like the left rear tire is hopping off the ground. New tires by the way. Shop said that everything looks good except the stabilzer bar which needs a bushing on the passenger side. Any ideas out there? Cheap transmission mechanic in the twin cities anyone?

I concur with the syncro's. They are the problem the majority of the time if you have hard shifts.

Sucks man definately sounds like your synchros are fucked. Your best be is to get a new tranny from stassis engineering they have an upgraded one that won't crap out like stock.

Thanks for all the ideas guys. The car is getting ready to get torn apart. The tech who just did all the work says it is the shift fork again. He is guessing but says its what it is. Does anyone know of a better one so this dont happen again? Who wants to buy my car?
