Thanks! Ive been in love with the car and the color for like 4 years but was never able to afford one until now. I was think about getting new diverter valves from here. Do you think that those would be a good choice? Im also going to order that samco hose set as my first mods(if you want to call them mods..lol) to the car. Next will be the apr chip with their intercoolers. Im new to this car(I had an all motor acura rsx with cams and junk) so I dont really know what should be done to it. [sm=smiley1.gif]

Baileys are a very good choice. AWE is a great vendor with which to do business, too.

Remember to service the DV's every 10K miles or so.

Your "first" mods are good to start with - you're doing the safety route first. Make sure the car has synthetic oil - if not, change it now and get a new filter, too. Learn to understand the sound of the turbos. Your ears are the best gauge for their proper performance until you get other instrumentation to help.

Did the car come with any mods?

Wooops!
Let's get the background before we jump to any conclusions.
1. What year?
2. How many miles?
3. Did you buy it used?
4. Any mods?
5. Describe the whistling noise in detail - loud dentist drill or whirring sound?
6. When do you hear the whistle - acceleration, at steady speed, deceleration?
7. Where do you hear it coming from - left, right, both/center?
8. Is your hesitation a "hiccup" (a kind of jerking motion) or does it level out between 3500-4000 rpms when accelerating?
