So when I got my car driving with the a/c on felt like I was losing power but recently when the a/c is off car feels kinda sluggish and when I turn it on it feels like I have more power also I hold 2 psi of boost higher after the initial spike with a/c on. Anyone know why this might occur?

These cars are smart, I wouldn't be surprised if it adds a little boost to compensate for the draw of the AC. With my old A4 2.8L V6, you could hear the relay turn the AC off when you went WOT. Whether it was to keep the compressor from spinning so fast, or to conserve power, I can't say, although I'd lean toward option 1 if I had to choose. Point is, they're always doing things...

Now, the car feeling sluggish with AC off, but ok with it on... I have no clue how to explain that one.

low power with AC on is normal. The compressor is parasitic power loss.

Yeah 2 years ago when I bought it I always cruised with windows down so I wouldnt have to use a/c because I could feel the power loss now its the opposite

If you find out what's causing your power gain with the a/c on, let us know as I would be interested in that modification.

the AC on is putting load on the engine and therefore spooling the turbo.  It may just feel like its more power because you're spooling the turbo sooner.
