This summer I am going to be in the market for another car to replace my trusty Jeep Cherokee as a dd, also have a 06 M3. I am looking into a few options, one of which is an A4. I live in Northern NJ, and think that this option is both practical and appealing for me. I have read the newbie thread and have found it very useful. Can you guys point me in the direction of some useful threads where I could further conduct my “research�? Also I have a couple questions that I feel can quickly and easily be answered. TIA for the help.

1. What year did the gearbox change from 5-spd to 6-spd manual?
2. What is covered under scheduled maintenance? Is there somewhere I can find a list of whats covered?
