couple of bucks cheaper than the beachchair link, but the difference is negligable:

I think the sleeves have fallen out of the bushings on my front bar. It doesn't creak anymore, it clunks, but whatever, its low on the priority list.

just make sure you put the dogbone back together right...I here if you put it back together wrong it still fits but rubs the fsb :eek:not sure if you have to pull that mount or not, but its right there anyways if you havent upgraded the bushing

How 'bout non functioning haldex, large EVAP leak, and only boosting to 10psi on a 225 w/o any codes.

It is possible to put the dogs in the wrong way. I did, before I double checked prior to letting the car down off the jacks.

i dont think so because it will be rather obivious that its wrong...idk it doesnt matter im glad he caught it before driving BTW i think im gonna order those 034 motor mounts jsut dont know if i want the street or track ones.....

The only way you can really tell is by the grid pattern. If you didnt pay attention to the way it came out, you can easily put it back in upside down and not notice untill you drive it for awhile.

As for the mounts, just get the street. They are firm but not enough to have you going nuts from the vibrations. Issam recommends streets for street cars and they are also going on his A4 with a 2.2L stroker and gt3082r

I will be getting the streets myself when i have some extra money hopefully buy the end of summer.

ya i jsut got off the phone with them..street is the way to go...same as the VF engineering mounts...track is for like 500-600hp and lots of vibration...not for DD use...but mine is semi daily driver.. but ya street is the way im gonna go...its just that i promised myself i was done buying parts and still have lots of mods ai wanna do...carbon fiber hood(mine got a lil nicked) oil cooler, big brake kit, springs coilovers, also that coil cover is gonna be in carbon fiber next month so im gonna wait for that...

Not sure why you want to spend the money for a CF hood and not gain anything from using it. As for the oil cooler, just get one off a TDI and that will be more than enough for your car, it will be for mine(even though im sure your car doesnt need it). If you do brakes, you HAVE to get some 2 peice rotors (5-7lbs lighter). All i can say is wilwood :)

as for the carbon fiber hood...im still debating gonna see how much to redo my current hood sanded and painted or paying around 650-700 for the carbonfiber....IMO i think the carbon fiber hood on my sexy black TT would look KILLER!!! and ya i was leaning towards wilwood for brakes....link me to the site u got em from...and i never heard that about theTDI oil coolers you got more info on that?

I had a CF hood on my black lancer and it look rather good, but i did lose over 20lbs with it :)

The wilwoods i got are from www.hotrodusa.com (http://www.hotrodusa.com) they are listed for a gti/jetta. I got the plan face ones as you know. You will then have to order the lines from jegs.com to install them. For some reason they dont come with the lines and you have to have them to install them. they did send some lines with the kit but they had a differnt flair and wont work. If you want the drilled/slotted you can just order everything from jegs.

Here is the comparison - 1.8t - vr6 - tdi

http://www.itswarm.com/net_pics/dub/oil_cooler.jpg

You just have to cut the lines to make it fit. more info http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3797522

MeanAudiA6

looks like you also need that pipe thread that goes in the center of the cooler to be longer...part number for that?>>>>

It wasnt on the link, i will have to im reflected. But since you have and im about to get rid of the sai, it heating up the oil faster and keeping it regulated better is a huge plus (also i have no cat to heat up :D). The cooler should fit with a small filter (nonAudi) but im going to dump the cross bar personally.
