Hello all. This will most definitely be a ridiculous question, but I am trying to replace a burnt out headlight in my 2004 A4. I got managed to get the headlamp removed (finding the fourth screw was a pain in the ass) and I am able to remove the plastic housing that covers the socket where the headlight bulbs is located. Consequently, I cannot seem to get the bulb out from the socket and I noticed a metal clip type thing that I for some reason cannot get off to release the bulb! I don't know if I'm just plain stupid or doing something completely wrong. I have never seen these type of safety latch or whatever it is when replacing a headlight bulbs so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. I hope it helps. No idea why I am having such a difficult time with something this simple. I can't blame it on the Germans since this is something a toddler should be able to figure out!
