Hi everyone!

I bought my car at Carmax and the 2006 A4 manual was not with the car.  This signal just came on my dash this afternoon (O) and I'm not sure what it means.
Also, my car keeps BRAKE light on the dash keeps beeping even though the parking brake is not being used.  I was wondering what to expect at the dealership.
Can anyone tell me what I should do and keep in mind I am without the owner's manual.  I'd be most appreciative.

Thank you in advance!

It means you need front brake pads. The red brake light is flashing because the front pads are worn so far down the fluid in the master cylinder is low causing the brake light to flash and beep.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply!

Do I have to take it into the dealership?  I am beyond broke right now and need to do this as cheaply as possible.

Thank you, again.  I really appreciate it.

You can purchase the pads from an online company like www.ecstuning.com or www.purems.com and then have an indy shop (or yourself) install them, which would be the cheapest route.
