I'd think they were for speakers but mine didnt have any so i was just wondering why they were made? snd im not talkin bout the baby seat things

Or it could be for the factory sub in the trunk.

maybe both but i thnk its for air circulation ... the trunk has a vent from the air/heat system doesnt it??

I'd say its for air circulation as well, but even if the trunk does have a vent from the air system I doubt it would really make a diffrence since the rear a/c duct hardly blows much air. As mentioned in other posts, if you remove the right rear panel in the trunk(where the sub is) and fold down the seat the bass will sound much better.

or you could get an 1800 watt amp and a sub lol

well if u dont have the bose u wont see an amp and iif you do have the bose it is in front of the sub on teh passenger side ... u need to pull thewall of the truck out
