Default shudder with steering cranked

I have had my 04 S m6 for about a week now. I have noticed that when I crank the steering way over to the left or right and then proced to put the car in motion I get a low frequency shudder and sound that I can feel and hear. It lasts only about a second and if I keep turning in the same circle it goes away. Stock tires and wheels so far so nothing is rubbing. The dealer put it up on a lift and couldnt see anything wrong. He felt it do its thing, bud didn't know what it was. The car has a brand new clutch put in by the Audi dealer about 1000 miles ago before I purchased the car. I only have about 5000 miles left on my factory warrantee and don't want any surprizes tha can be eliminated now. Is this brief shudder a normal quirk of this car or do I have some impending problem?
Thanks for any enlightment here.

Steering pump maybe? But if you're not hearing a slight wine when you turn your wheel or have it cranked then its probably not a sign of a failing pump.

Thanks. I went and checked the steering , is full. Noise and shake isn't just when I crank the wheel all the way, its as I start to move forward with them cranked over like in a tight parking space. It doesn't happen when I let up the clutch going straight. Could it be the all wheel drive grabbing for a second due to the extreme differences between the front and rear turning radius when the wheels are cranked way over. Does anyone else experience this. It just happens for a second or so after the clutch is engaged in a tight circle. I fel the shudder in the steering wheel and the clutch pedal but the noise source is hard to pinpoint.

It's normal. I took mine to the dealer and they said it's something to do with the quattro/ESP system. It gets more pronounced when you upgrade the handling because the tires are gripping better. However, you're calling it a "shudder" which implies the steering wheel is moving around. Mine doesn't do that - it's just the sound and a slight vibration.

Yess4 we are probably talking about the same thing. Maybe shudder wasn't the right word. Thanks for your input.

I get the U-turn vibration as well in my 00 B5 S4. All quattro related and normal right?
