Default Looking at an 05.5

Hello Everyone,
I'm currently in negotiations on an 05.5, silver with black leather, all options (except navi if that is even an option) 35K miles, 6 speed and is certified. One of the wheels is slightly curbed, but in great shape otherwise.

The dealer is stuck on 23,500 which is a bit higher than what I've researched on Edmunds and NADA. Does this value sound realistic?

Thanks for the help!
Matt

I think it really depends on local demand for that car. but you should be able to to jew them down a bit.

speak of the devil. I just bought a 2005.5 A4 yesterday. mine had 42k with dolphin grey exterior and platinum interior 6speed manual. It had new tires, breakpads and rotors all around, cold weather package and comfort package. Now i paid 22,400 for it before tax tag and title etc... The reason behind this is a few different factors. First of all, there were 3 different ppl after me waiting in line to purchase the car so i didnt have much negotiationg room (initial price was $22,900), second of all, these cars are in quite a popular demand right now in my opinion and talking with the ppl at the audi dealership. I bought mine at the largest audi dealership in the southeast (in Atlanta) and this was the only manual transmission A4 that they had instock (including CPO and no certified cars). As a result, based off what i've just said and what you've told me about the car your looking at, considering it has all the packages on it except nav i would say your not going to get them to budge a great deal more. However, what you may get them to do is include new tires or break rotors and pads into the deal. I know break rotors and pads should be replaces about every 20k-25k miles so you could try and negotiate this into the price.

Anyways, good luck with your negotiations. I am very happy with my purchase and its only been a day. The car is a blast to drive! i certainly don't regret it
