[:@]hello could anyone help need 2 find the power window regulator i have no power 2 the windows at all wot could it be?? thanks when you talk bout codes they go in the dash consoled

You can find these regulators online. Just locate wholes auto parts for this item. I would check the fuses before hand. Could be just the fuses. Also, when we refer to codes, you have to own a VAG com, which is a diagnostic tool that techs use to trouble shoot and read all codes. The codes aren't visible, you just see the Check Engine light. Seeing this will mean that your car is throwing a code for a certain reason.

Amos Envied is right... check the fuses before going any further.

Your post is confusing and gives little detail. There are a number of reasons the windows stop working so changing the "regulators" might be wasting your money.

As for codes. do a search for VAGCom and see what it says.

sorry for the bad post it woz a late night lol the car is a 97 1.8 T the problem started when the drivers side foot well flooded the control box got wet and give up [:@][:@]which controls central locking and alarm as the locking is working now off the fob but no alarm tone. the eletric windows dont work or interior lights dont work or door lights checked all fuses the car still starts and runs fine but the tip has stopped working aswell that woz fine before and all lights on the dash r on not showing gear please help thank you [:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

Dry the damn thing out and check the fuses first.

bin drying it out for days mate think the box woz a write off had 2 go in bin added a new one now the car is going 2 be scanned monday for code if all else fails think it has blown some think else as well[:@][:@][:@]tryed fuses all look good

found the problem and no it woznot fuses. try master reset take battery leads off cable tie them 2 gether(no battery) leave them 4 bout a hour works mint now
