Just ordered for my 05 4.2 Navteq Map DVD MMI v.9, which was released earlier today. I will post a report about the improvements to the Nav and the MMI when it arrives. You can order it at Navteq's site.

It has the same appearance as version 8. I have not noticed much of a difference, but I live in an area that is pretty well developed, so not much changes locally.
