Default Stuck Plug Wires?

Posted in A6 Forum, no response. Please help a newbie out!

New to the forum. Finally registered. Thanks to everyone for all the helpful tech info on this site.

Went to change my VCG's, cam tensioner gaskets, and plugs today. Two snags: could not get get spark plug wires 4 and 5 out. Tried everything, even a generic plug remover from NAPA. Anybody else have this problem? Is there a special Audi tool for removing stuck plug wires? Any ideas? Second, I had no luck using the 3366 tool to get the cam tensioner loose enough to get the half moon gasket, and metal gasket out. I could only get like 1/4" of space. Any ideas? So, I ended up just replacing the VCG on the passengers side. Certainly did not accomplish everything I wanted too. [:@]
