Mkay i have a 2001 A4 1.8t if that helps at all, but i'm pretty sure my ecu took a shiit when i was driving down the road and the car just shut off. My RPM's dropped to 0, the fob key won't make the doors actually lock and unlock, yet it still makes the car alarm arm itself when i hit the lock button, but the doors remain unlocked and when u open the door with the alarm armed it won't set off or make any noise. Has this happened to any of you before? My car's in the shop right now and the guy said it might be the ecu... so i'm totally lost at this point on what the problem would be if the ecu didn't go bad... any help would be awesome. thanks in advance.
