Hi,

Sorry to just join and jump straight in with a 'help me' post but I'm at my wits end with this.

My 2001 1.6 Audi A3 has this very over-powering smell of petrol while driving. The engine management light is on and gargae say that they don't know why or where the smell is coming from but that my Air Flow Meter needs replacing.

They said that this is seperate as this wouldn't lead to fumes in cabin.

Has anyone any ideas on what it could be?
