I was looking at the possibility of buying a used 2000 A6 with the 2.8l engine. The car has 99,000 miles on it. They are asking $7995 for it. Is there anything I should be concerned about with this mileage on the vehicle? The car look like its been well maintained. I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

just look for the same things as you would when buying any used car.
check to see if the timing belt is done and if not you should think about that for the near future
i urge you to think about purchasing an audi, even though they are amazing cars, the maintenence and repair is really expensive.
the timing belt job costs about 1000-1500 bucks depending on where you get it done

Check for valve cover gasket leaks. very common problem from what ive heard and it really sucks because when oil drips from the valve cover, it lands on the exhaust manifold and stinks. Other than that no big problems, mine has 91K and no problems.
