so im bringing my 01' 2.7 to my personal mechanic tomorrowwho fabricates mucle cars and builds suped up giant turbod cars in his sleep to replaces the leaking cam seals on my car. while its there im having him take the measurements to cut out the resonators and put in straight pipes. also this week id like to order an intake which i will put in myself. i was wondering if anyone had any experiences with some pretty decent air intakes that arent wicked expensive.

some i was looking at was this lltek for $244.

this abd racing one. not sure though it says its illegal for road use and i dont want to get in trouble for some reason even though im not sure why it would be illegal for road use

i think the ABD looks beter haha i got an intake for my a6 and it sounds alot better

plus i like K&N

I have the v-flow intake which looks like that same design.... I would def get the cold air intake one

which one is the cold air one. the abd one which goes down? the only thing though is that it says its not street legal? i dont understand why it wouldnt be? who makes the v flow intake? but the lltek one is supposedly "cold air" because it has that plastic shield and gets air from behind the headlight

the second one on the lltek site is the cold air intake... V-flow is from evolution motorsports which looks like the first one on lltek...They don't have the cold air intake at evolution motorsports which made mekinda upset they sent me the v-flow hahabut I fell inlove with the V-flow.. I would say you couldn't go wrong YOUR IN AN AUDI! no cop is going to pop your hood for that mod!
