Default Difference in color after car re-painting

Hello guys. I hope i am not crazy by exposing my problem here. Few months ago i was in car accident and my car needed to be re-painted. A few days a go somebody did a deep scratch on my boot door and that also was re-painted. Now the problem is that after re-painting i see difference in color. The original color code is LY9B (black), but when you compare the new painted details with old one's, old one's look a bit blue while the new one is pure black. Could this be caused by the nature of the paint and the fact that car has been exposed on sun to much over the years? Car is A6 C5 8 years old. Could this be fixed with polishing or anything else? The paint used was Glasurit code LY9B SA.300.00. If someone has had such a problem will be great to share with me. Thanks a lot.
