Default Cracked Engine cover

So i took my A3 in last week to have an O ring in the vac hose replaces because it was leaking a significant amount of oil. so i get the car back and the other day im filling up and decide to check my oil so i pop my hood and to my surprise the engine over from the left corner where the oil filler cap is across down to the middle is cracked in half. and to tp it off the the air intake wasnt re attached to the pice behind the grill so every time the engine torqued the intake was flapping up and down.

Soooo today i took it to the dealer and ripped them a new on and. they said quote. "I dont see one of our techs doing something like this. When you brought it in for service we don't touch the engine cover or the intake."

Does this warrant a call to AOA? Im pretty furious.

Default RE: Cracked Engine cover

I would call AOA to register your complaint. If they do nothing, it is no different thancurrent situation.

Good luck !!
