to gasket or not to gasket that is the ?
 

Not too long ago I put a test pipe on my A4, and of course I ended up with an exhaust leak at the turbo to pipe joint. Now, when I removed the stock cat I don't recall seeing a gasket there. So, do I really need the gasket in this location? The one I put on was some cheap ass thing (came with the pipe). Opinions? Experiences?
