You can't remove an audi/VW brake booster without an audi specific special tool......
Not to mention a passat brake booster won't fit on an A6.

Checker is showing parts interchange for that booster as the same part for the following:

*99-01 Passat*
99-01 A4
*00-01 A6*
01-05 Allroad Quattro
03-04 RS6
00-01 S4
