Default RE: Engine coolant?

According to my Blauparts kit from when I replaced the timing belt. You could check with your local parts or google it.

OEM & German mfg. Audi Pentosin anti-freeze 2 to 5 liters (anti-phosphate/amine)

If the fluid was too low, an error light should have gone on in the dash.

Default RE: Engine coolant?

deffinately go to VW or Audi dealership and get the r-12 pink coolant. you wont find it at autoshop stores cause VW/Audi dont sell the formula....

i've heard that this stuff will gel up if you mix other formulas... not sure if it will, but I wouldnt risk it for basically the same price. (pre-mixed Prestone stuff = $11for 1 gallon, Audi= $23, and youget 2 gallons out of it after you mix it, making it the same price)

you have to mix it 50-50 with water though.
