Default c6 bluetooth problem

Hi, I'm having problems connecting my phone (nokia 8800 sirocco) to A6 via bluetooth. I managed to connect it and entered "1234" as the password-PIN. First phone asked it and then entered it in the MMI, after that phone said it connected successfully but MMI still showed "To bond the bluetooth handset to the MMI, please enter this same password on the bluetooth handset". 8800 doesnt show that it's connected to the car and after a while MMI displays "failure to bond" message. Tried this with another nokia phone and same thing... Any ideas what's wrong?

What year car and what MMI software version? The early MMI software versions had several bluetooth connectivity issues. I am betting that you need to upgrade the MMi software.

You are running the equivalent of DOS. Take the car to the dealer and complain that the radio is losing its surround setting and that the radio curser jumps around. With these complaints you will satisfy two different TSBs that require the updating of the MMi software. If you are still under warranty the upgrade will be free. If the warranty has expired it should run you about $200. The upgrade improves the enjoyment of the car dramatically.
