Can anybody tell me how to reset the service reminder alert after changing oil yourself?

Owner's Manual. For to read!

With the key in the ignition in the off position press the wrench button on the gauge cluster and hold it. Turn the ignition on and press the 0.0 button while still holding the wrench button down.
