Default This is cool and yet puzzling

Found this at work, I think this is cool and very interesting. It's hard to fathom there are still tribes like this out in the world today.

OMG ompa loopa's are real. JK I read the captions and know it was paint, but it doesn't really surprise me that there are still tribes in the world that have not meet technology yet and a plane doing laps around their village would probably create some turmoil.

yes...i saw that too. it is cool yet puzzling.
cool to see such a primative lifestyle and puzzling that they can be so untouched by the modern world. it makes you wonder if they are all that much different than we are.

How weird would that be? Hanging out in your little village, not knowing what's going on in the outside world; and all of a sudden some kind of HUGE NOISY BIRD that doesn't flap its wings goes flying overhead - they probably thought it was a dragon or a demon or something.

i'm sitting here typing on a ultra portable laptop PC that, OPENED is the size of most peoples laptop monitors, and yet there are 100 uncontacted tribes living in the jungle with no clue what's going on in the rest of the world. thats nuts.

That's another crazy thing I thought was interesting also. How are there 100 uncontacted tribes in the world and how do we know that.... also, like stated, we ("civilized" humans) better leave them alone and let them live their lives.

I saw an article about this on cnn.com a couple days ago and it just blew my mind. These people have been living the same way for probably a hundred thousand years. They have no idea about the rest of the world and what has been going on. Totally oblivious to the renaissance, the enlightenment, industrial revolution, modern medicine and technology.... it's crazy to think about that.

They are probably at this very moment still going nuts talking about that plane and trying to figure out what the hell that noisy flying thing they saw actually was. Reminds me of how explorers like cortez and coronado were viewed as gods when they initally contacted the aztec peoples because they could float on water in big boats and ride on the backs of horses.
