I know the title makes no sence, that is all I could think of at the moment, but anyway... I am just seeing what size spring I will need in order to lower my car so that the tire is within an inch or half inch of the fender. I have the non-sport suspension right now. I have 35mm springs right now (not installed). I am just trying to see if these will work.

Measure the height from the ground to the highest point on the front fender opening, tell us your tire size and wheel offset and we'll get back to you.

For instance, at 25.25", with 225/40-18s on 45mm offset wheels, you will rub slightly on the fender liner screw when cornering hard. With 50mm offset wheels you'll clear just fine. With 42mm or less offsets you'll be chewing up fender and damaging bodywork.

Also, if you are installing that much lowering, you should be installing sport shocks as well, or risk messing up your handling, and possibly causing serious suspension damage if you bottom the stock shocks out with lowering springs installed.

I am at 27 inches (stock height I guess) and still running the stock wheels. I will be running 19" wheels in the near future and really dont want a big fender gap maybe like a half inch or at most 1 inch.So I guess I need a 2 inch lowering spring. I have a 35mm spring but now I am guessing that will not be a large enought drop. Correct? Besides CO what size spring should I run?

35mm Drop = 1.4", that will drop you to 25.6". Your stock Tire package is 25". 225/35-19s are 25.3" tall so you are OK. Just make sure the wheels are 19X8s with at least 47+ mm offset.

If you go wider, they will probably rub, and unlike coilovers, you have no way of adjusting that out with just a spring kit.

Also, make sure the wheel + tire weight in't over 50lbs or your ride and handling will go to hell. Too much unsprung weight.

Standard shocks will also be running 35mm into their compression stroke, so you will bottom them very easily, possibly damaging the shock (bent piston rod, leak, or just blown). Seriously consider installing sport shocks which are designed for use with lowering springs and save yourself a bunch of hassle later on.
