I have an 03 Audi A4 1.8T and was curious if anyone knew how to make it so the Pioneer Avic-N4 DVD will work while you are driving? I installed it this weekend and have noticed that a lot of the featues (even more then DVD) are disabled while driving. Thank you in advance.

Snowawake8 Jus one question why did u get the avicn4 u should have bought a double din unit..

If u have a double din application u will need the MTR99-9105 sold by metra check www.metraonline.com

I did not get the double din unit because I was told that there was not a dash kit for double din for my car. I know there is for 2002 and older but could not find a double din dash kit for my car for the life of me. So...that is why I went with the N4 over the D3.

what kind of car do you have?

The kit I posted before should have worked for your car. I though it did anyways.

Yea that was only up to 2002 for the double din. Unfortunately there is not a double din out that is made for 2003. Kind of a bummer but everything is installed and it does still look good. Only bummer is I lose my cup holder when the screen is out but you can put the screen in it is still workable. Pictures coming soon. I got my Eibach lowering kit installed yesterday so I will have pics up very soon.

Thats weird man i have a 03 b6 and i have a double din unit installed but anyway the avic n4 is a good unit... I always liked the avics but the only thing i hate about them is the adisc for the navi but u should be fine... Post some pics to see wha it look like
