s4 vs charger?
so my neighboor thinks his stock v8 charger can take my modded s4
ive never been in a charger or seen them race so , anyone know what im up against? 0-60 times? 1/4 mile? hp? torque? |

is it an srt-8?? dont be fooled...they are fairly quick... iirc, the 08 runs close to 13 flat...while the 06 year was doing 13.3-13.5 1/4...while the S is saying about the same

well i just happen to be a mech at a jeep dodge dealer. and a hemi v8, absolutely no problem. srt8 you might have a little trouble off the line but youll pick him up. they have the worst transmission of all time.

not sure whta youre basing that off of..if its the srt-8, 6.1 v8 pushing 425hp.... a little more than youre pushing out..now its heavier..but theyre running VERY similar numbers...4.8-5 0-60... and 13.2-13.5 1/4

i have a 01 s4 stock and my brother has a 05 srt-8 and i have driven his. they are very similar on speeds. so i think its pretty much up to how the driver is.

im just making guesses of what a stock charger may or maynot be pushin, but i doubt its the srt8. how much do the hemi v8 put down at the wheels?
sooks i havent dynoed my car yet but im lookin to do so after i get all the mods done that are sitting in my garage and i lower the car, but im hopin to hit somewhere around 350 at the wheels |

a stock 2006ish rt charger is pushing about 350 hp, and about 390 ft/tq.
1/4 mile about 14-14.5 sec, depending on what year, and 0-60 is about 6ish depending on what year he has aswell. you will beat him easily, more so if u have a stick and not the tip. don't get me wrong, they're fast, but nothing compared to the srt-8. |
