Default New to the forum, Future Ultrasport Owner!

Hello everyone!
My name is Samantha and recently I have been interested in buying a new car.
I found two Audi's that I fell in love with.
One is a white 2005 A4 1.8t quattro ultrasport
and the otheris ablack 2004A4 1.8t quattro ultrasport as well.
The White one has 35,XXX miles and was going for $22,500
the '04 black has 38,XXX andis going for $20,500.

They both are 6 speed and have the bose system, cold weather package,
black leather interior, moon roof, but no navigation. (I will install the OEM system shortly after)

I am new to Audi and was wondering if the those style Audi's are hard to come by in white, because the white one was sold under my feet. I think that the white one shows more of the ultrasport package and it sparks my attention more. I also would prefer to get the factory navigation as well if I decide to buy one. How reliable have these style of Audi's been? My boyfriend is a dsm enthusiast and wants to add an intake and exaust to it. Will that affect how reliable it is or shouldI leave it stock? I want to have the car for awhile and
I hate having a car that breaks down and is not reliable, so I am doing a little research to see if this is a good car for me.
Does anybody have thoughts or insight to my decision?
Please let me know that would be wonderful.

Pick whichever one you want more. They arent much different. A year and 3,000 miles. Also just a few things here and there. Its up to you. Try them both out and see what you like more.

I'm pretty sure one isnt more unreliable as the other since they are nearly the same.

The white one is sold.

The black one is still availible, however I just came across a RED ultrasport 2004 with 50,XXX miles.
I fell in love with the RED, because its just like the white, however the tail lights match and make it stand out more.

My boyfriend and I just got back from test driving it, and the tranny was having issues downshifting. It would lock him out of 4th at times unless he pulled hard, and it would be notchy at times. The clutch felt fine, so the dealership was going to look at it and check the fluid level. They said at most they would let the car go for 18,995 that was without any money showing, and them knowing I want to buy a warranty. The warranty would cover the transmission so if they didn't fix it I could bring it to Audi and have them fix the problem. So thats another point to have them drop the price if the transmission issue is not fixed.

Other than that the car was flawless.

All of this I thought I would post some pics of it, a couple teasers for everyone.

My plans:
Powdercoat stock 18's to "flat" matte black.
Tint the windows
Remove Badges
Remove Chrome from front
Remove Orange markers from headlights
Smoke headlight housing
LED red/clear tail lights
Lowering springs
Factory Navi - With a DVD player.
Intake
Exhaust
Maybe a BOV
Thats all!

I can't seem to get the pictures to show up on the site. I read the thread about how-to but it's still not working.

Is this forum dead or?

I was hoping for a little insight from other audi owners, especially USP owners!

Hey Sam, have you made any decisions on which a4you’re going to get? I would be a little nervous about buying a car that has known problems during the test drive. As for the color I think that black on black is always a great choice, that’s just my personal opinion! See if you can get those pictures to work, or post the link.
