Default DBW lag/delay - solutions?

Is there anything out there that can cut down the DBW accelorator lag/delay on these cars?&nbsp\\; Its frustrating when I'm trying to punch into a lane change in traffic and I have to anticipate a half second before I actually want to accelerate into the other lane.&nbsp\\; I'd heard some rumblings about a mod or third party product that remedies this.&nbsp\\; Or can I make adjustments via VAG-COM?&nbsp\\; Thanks in advance for the help.

you can down shift to get a bit more giddy up from your car but the only thing that solves turbo lag is having a variable ratio turbo, its a fancy term for having a valve that makes the opening in where the downpipe meets the turbo it gets smaller as less gas is used therefore it makes more pressure that spools the turbo faster so its always ready to go. its better explained with a model or something but i'm not aware of anything that can be programmed to stop turbo lag

I'm not talking about turbo lag here, I'm talking about the lag between the time you stomp on the pedal and when the ecu finally decides to opent he throttle body.

FYI, I found what I was looking for, it's called a Sprint Booster:

The difference is deinitely noticeable. From what I can tell, it just compresses your accelerator response curve, telling the ecu htat you have the throttle pushed down farther than you actually do.I know it doesn't sound like something you;d play $300 for, but I'm really enjoying the short throttle travel. It really makes my REVO software come alive.
