Just bought a 2005 A6 since I absolutely loved my 98 A6 - best car I've ever driven in the snow, or anywhere for that matter. But, that's why we keep buying them, isn't it? Anyway, to the problem - I have most of the bells and whistles - bluetooth, nav, etc.,but not the tech package with the activated voice module. I heard that they were put in all the 2005s but not activated. Is this correct? If so, how do I get it activated, or can I retrofit a voice activation module? I went to the dealer and they didn't know anything about voice activation modules - no help at all!

It has been discussed on the forum so just do a search and I am sure that you will find how to activate the voice module that came with all C6s. However, without the Tech package you will not have any voice tags. So you will not be able to say "call home". Instead you will have to say dial 1-555-555-1234 to call home.
