Default boost missing

Hello!

I got a 98.5 A4 1.8T and recently i ship it. must be 18 psi but my boost gauge tell me just 14 psi.


Please help me to find the solution!

check your vacume lines from your intake manifold to your boost gauge

What chip do you have, because not many chips for the ndbw cars actually hit 18psi since they are sold as 1 bar chips.

its realy 18 psi! I work for im... but i just got no time to chek everiting..

What is really 18psi and how is he "the guy"?

The GIAC Xchip runs 18-21psi.


People have pushed the K03 to well into the 20's, my custom GIAC chip ran 26psi on 91 octane. So 18psi isn't all that hard to believe since thats what most people push now.

IIRC it should be 16-18psi.
